Flooring NC in Wilmington, Planned for Home

Flooring NC in Wilmington, matched to your space

For flooring NC in Wilmington, Tide & Timber Flooring offers a shop-at-home way to plan a floor update. Instead of choosing from a small sample in a store, you can see full-size LVP, engineered hardwood, solid hardwood, carpet and laminate samples at your own address. That lets you compare the material and color beside your existing finishes and under the light in the room.

A flooring project may start because a room no longer suits your plans, a surface has visible wear, or you’re ready to rethink the look. Those are good reasons to compare materials and talk through the scope. We’ll help you consider the available options without pressure, so you can decide what works for your home or property.

A design-first visit from Tide & Timber

Tide & Timber is Wilmington’s design-first, shop-at-home flooring store. Our experts bring the samples to you, making it easier to see how different choices relate to the furnishings and finishes already in place. You can take time to consider what you like before moving ahead.

We’re also a flooring contractor, carpet store and wood and laminate flooring supplier. Our services include carpet installation, wood floor installation and wood floor refinishing. That range gives you one local business to speak with about both product choices and the work involved in changing a floor.

What happens during the project

We start with a free consultation to understand the space and what you want from the project. We bring suitable samples to your door, and you can compare them at home. Once you’ve chosen a direction, the installation plan addresses the preparation and finishing work for the selected flooring.

Our PerfectFit installation system covers the key parts of that work:
- Subfloor preparation before installation begins.
- Acclimation as part of the flooring plan.
- Layout and installation of the selected material.
- Trim work and full cleanup at the end.

Each step helps organize the job from the surface underneath to the finished edges. If you’re weighing carpet against a hard surface, or deciding between wood and laminate, the in-home sample visit gives you a useful starting point. For existing wood floors, ask us about refinishing as well as new installation.

Serving Wilmington and nearby coastal communities

We serve Wilmington and the Cape Fear Coast, including Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Hampstead, Surf City and Leland, along with the Greater Wilmington area. Our customers include coastal homeowners, busy families, vacation rental owners and investors. Those projects can have different priorities, so we focus the discussion on the rooms, finishes and flooring choices at your property.

For flooring NC in Wilmington, seeing the options in place can help you make a considered selection. We bring the samples to your home and talk through the installation scope for your project, rather than asking you to judge a floor from a distant display.
